Dear BSLL Softball Families,
Now that the sun is shining, BSLL softball season is in full swing, and we need to fill you in on a few things coming up! 
Burgerville fundraiser: Next Monday and Tuesday (4/21 & 4/22) the Burgerville on 82nd & Glisan is raising funds for Beaumont Softball Little League! Make sure you stop by and grab some delicious food, but don't forget to mention that you're there to support Beaumont Softball — the league gets 20% of the cost of each order when you let them know you're there to support the league or show the attached flyer.
Gear swap day: Is your child still in need of some gear for the season? Or do you have items that your child has outgrown that you'd like to pass along to other players who can use them? Board Member Tyler Cox will be at Roseway Heights this Saturday morning (4/19) if you have gear to donate or need to pick some up — there's plenty that's been donated if you want to check out what's available to take. He'll be at the shed behind the field before games get started that day from 8:30-9:30 am.

Beaumont merch: The Beaumont merch store is closing very soon, so visit the store by midnight tonight to order your gear! We'll have some items available to purchase at BSLL events, but if you want to make sure you get what you want in the correct size, order tonight!
Umpires: We are in need of volunteer umpires for our minors games. It's a pretty easy gig, and doesn't take long to train and get started. The commitment is approximately 1-2 games per week. If you or someone you know is able to volunteer, please get in touch with Jon Coney.

Team photos: Farm, juniors, and seniors will have picture day on April 27. Minors and majors will have theirs on May 4. Your coach will send exact times when we know more. 
All-star tryouts: Mark your calendars for all-star tryouts on May 18. If your child is interested in playing all-stars after the regular season ends, they need to participate in tryouts and show off their skills. We'll be in touch with further details soon.

Junior Rose Festival Parade: Join BSLL and march in the parade on Wednesday, June 4 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Details are forthcoming.
